PROMOTION COMMITTEE

The Promotion Committee is responsible for creating a positive image of the business district to attract customers and investors, and to rekindle community pride. Promotion also includes:

• Friday Night Live
• Gospel Sing
• Smoke N Blues BBQ
• Friday Fest at City Hall

Retail Promotions

• Assist with Downtown Business Group events
• Assist with Chamber of Commerce events
• Assist in image marketing
• Imabunnystop
• Holiday Coloring Contest

Image Campaign

• Historical coloring book coordinated with historical brochure and walking tour
• Public appearances
• Provide updates to the Convention and Visitors Bureau

Media Relations

• Publish Newsletter - The Bugler
• Communicating events
• Maintain and expand website

A fundamental part of this committee is to promote community and organizations’ involvement within the downtown program area.
